Martin & Smith has been involved with some of the premier projects in our market working with the specifier to secure our products on the plans and then with the contractor to provide support at time of installation. We are also fortunate to have a world class design community in our area some of which are the architect or engineer of record for large scale projects around the world. Our philosophy is no matter where the job is located we owe it to our manufacture partners to provide local specifiers with any information and support needed and if necessary connecting the factory directly to the architect or engineer to collaborate further. No matter the type of project-from high end luxury residential properties looking to incorporate the latest styles and trends to commercial spaces looking for innovative water and energy saving technology Martin & Smith can help guide you on selecting the appropriate products for your project. Below is a small sample of projects we’ve worked on and some of the products we have supplied.

With it’s historic charm, trendy restaurants and active nightlife, Philadelphia has become an attractive home for droves of young professionals. As a result, numerous urban living complexes have sprung up to accommodate this influx of people. The Pavilion is a 1.5 Billion dollar add on to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. It will house 500 private patient rooms and 47 operating rooms in a 1.5 million square foot, 17-story facility slated to open in 2021. Martin & Smith was involved in the project design years in advance of final plans being produced and coordinated factory tours with members of the PennFIRST design team to help them evaluate possible design choices in person.
