Comprising a total of 765 hotel rooms and suites the renovations of Caesars Ocean and Centurion Tower’s guest bathrooms brought a luxurious upgrade using Grohe faucets and showers in the stylish “Brushed Cool Sunrise” gold finish. This project is also one of the first large installations of Grohe chinaware toilets in the United States.
Coming soon to the sports stadium area of south Philadelphia this new hotel and casino project features custom size Acorn Engineering lavatory decks for the casino floor bathrooms that bring a stylish, modern look made of a durable solid surface material. American Standard china fixtures and battery operated sensor flush valves were also supplied for the entire casino area.
Located in the heart of Rittenhouse Square, one of Philadelphia’s most fashionable neighborhoods The Harper is a 24-story luxury apartment tower with 183 high end apartments. M&S worked with the general contractor to specify the entire building with American Standard and Grohe products in the kitchens and bathrooms.
A new 65,000 square feet, 306 bed facility that M&S was involved with during the initial planning stages by working with the architect, engineer, warden and county officials to design an environmentally friendly and cost saving vacuum plumbing system from Acorn Vac.
The Patient Room Improvement, Modernization and Enhancement Project (PRIME) is a four story addition and 20,000 square feet renovation of existing spaces. M&S worked with the specifier to include a cutting edge Acorn Controls BASyC digital mixing valve and monitoring system that will maintain the water temperature set point during a power failure at all demand requirements (zero to peak).
With it’s historic charm, trendy restaurants and active nightlife, Philadelphia has become an attractive home for droves of young professionals. As a result, numerous urban living complexes have sprung up to accommodate this influx of people. One of the most recent is The Alexander, a 34-story, 258-unit luxury apartment complex completed in January 2018, which offers a host of contemporary amenities and features.
The Pavilion is a 1.5 Billion dollar add on to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. It will house 500 private patient rooms and 47 operating rooms in a 1.5 million square foot, 17-story facility slated to open in 2021. Martin & Smith was involved in the project design years in advance of final plans being produced and coordinated factory tours with members of the PennFIRST design team to help them evaluate possible design choices in person.
